Tek Hed Computer has Been in Business for Over 13 Years
Tek Hed was founded in 2000 when I got so frustrated with the options available to the average computer user/buyer in the area that I started my own business. Tek Hed Computer was born. I got free training any way I could - TV Shows, magazines, books, library classes, and even paid for a course at I.U. Kokomo. To start, the business was also a means to subsidize my PC hobby. In the 12 years since, our business base has grown to over 450 regular customers - with almost no paid advertising. Many, many people have stopped by my tables at Frankton's Heritage Days Festival over the years. Many more have stopped by to see me at Alexandria's Small Town Festival the last couple Autumns. I consider these 2 events to be cornerstones of my business, and truly look forward to them each year.
After 11 years of working and growing the business out of our home in Dundee, we have had a brick and mortar store front for over a year now.
Our new address is 4911 North State Road 9, Suite C, Anderson IN 46012. As the map above indicates, we are located on the west side of the road. The shop front (Suite C) is on the North side of the building. Please stop by the shop and get to know Tek Hed. I try to have a decent selection of used laptops - budget, mid-price and premium - available for you to browse. Used desktop PC's and monitors in several sizes and price ranges are also available. I can almost always find great deals on used business class monochrome laser printers as well, although I do not always have them in shop and on display. My primary supplier of good used products is a gentleman based in the Carmel/Westfield area whom I have done business with for over 10 years. Founded on a single 17" monitor purchase "way back then", demand now dictates that we connect pretty much weekly. Most of these products come out of major businesses and/or health care facilities in the Indianapolis area, and have been thoroughly reviewed before they make it to your house or place of business. I believe we're the largest seller of used laptops in Madison County.
